Job description
The Technical Project Manager, II will be responsible for leading and contributing to multiple project initiatives related to the Client’s Google Cloud services and products.
The Technical Project Manager will collaborate with internal BENZAIT team members, the Client, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are completed on-time, within scope and budget and that all deliverables have a quality of excellence. The Technical Project Manager will drive and actively contribute to all phases of project delivery including: analysis and design, development and build, testing, training, and deployment.
Your team
This role will report to and directly support the Chief Executive Office with various project management and organizational duties. This includes management and oversight of project resources, project planning, scheduling, risk management, scope management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management (internal, client, third-party vendor).
Tech Stack
- Experience with Google Cloud services including: Vertex AI, Cloud Natural Language, Cloud Healthcare API, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage.
- Experience with machine learning tools (e.g. AutoML, BigQuery).
- Experience in Java, C++, Python, SQL, R, and/or Tableau.
Requirements
General Responsibilities
- Scope, define, and drive organization-wide projects, including definition of major project milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successfully manage projects to an on-time delivery.
- Manage project schedules, identify risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
- Oversee all aspects of project management during the design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Work with client and third-party vendor stakeholders to manage project planning processes, project requirements, roadmaps.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities simultaneously. Communicate schedules, priorities, and project status’ internal and external executive-level stakeholders.
- Navigate multiple, interdependent work streams, technical concepts, and conversations across different departments and stakeholders to drive collaboration and consensus.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with team leads and senior management regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities.
- Provide technical and operational input (e.g., workflow design, architecture development).
- Understand technical challenges, and work with the teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Retain the status of your projects, drive visibility on progress, dependencies, risks, and issues, and manage communication of projects status with internal and client leadership, and other stakeholders.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of technical project management experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing software development or Google Cloud programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of Google Cloud based services, cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
- Experience managing a team through deployments of Cloud based models. Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly learn and understand the technical context of projects, and to meaningfully contribute to technical discussions related to projects.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with software development lifecycle, and coordinating across departments with various technical interdependencies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. Proven ability to help teams prioritize multiple work streams.
- Extensive experience analyzing product and/or technical plans, with the ability to identify success metrics, risks, and dependencies.
- Familiarity managing large, cross-functional programs spanning a diverse set of stakeholders in engineering organizations.
- Familiarity with data, data architecture, modeling, trends analysis, statistics, and program evaluations.
- Proven experience with data analysis using various scripting languages, tools, and/or platforms.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics or related quantitative STEM field.
- Experience with Google Cloud services including: Vertex AI, Cloud Natural Language, Cloud Healthcare API, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage Familiarity with containerized model development and deployment.
- Experience working with artificial intelligence in a healthcare environment.
- Experience with healthcare integration utilizing HL7 FHIR API.
- Working knowledge of the integration process and deployment of web standards such as REST APIs.
- Experience implementing statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and business intelligence.
- Experience with machine learning tools (e.g. Auto ML, Big Query). Experience in Java, C++, Python, SQL, R, and/or Tableau.
Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
- Professional Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer, Cloud Digital Leader or other related Google certification.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
